Resume
From the epidemiology of chemical burns of the esophagus of various etiologies in children of the Krasnodar region, the following conclusions can be drawn: the main route for routing children with suspected chemical burns of the esophagus to a specialized hospital is emergency medical teams - 77.63% of observations. The vast majority of children with this pathology - 72.12% of cases - are admitted to the hospital emergency room within the first 3 hours after taking the aggressive reagent. Primary clinical, anamnestic, laboratory and endoscopic examinations conducted in the emergency department of a specialized clinic confirmed the diagnosis of chemical burns of the esophagus of various severity and etiology in 58.70% of the total number. the number of patients hospitalized with suspected chemical burns of the esophagus. This pathology often occurs in patients aged 1-4 years - 65.93% of children.
