Resume
Necrotizing enterocolitis is an acquired, multifactorial gastrointestinal disease that occurs most often in premature newborns and is associated with high morbidity and mortality, as well as a high risk of developing short bowel syndrome in surviving children who have undergone surgical correction. The purpose of the work: was to develop an integral diagnostic characteristic of the NEC stage. Material and methods. To solve this problem, a data set of 150 premature newborns with various stages of NEC was used. The initial information for statistical processing consisted of 9 (laboratory, clinical) indicators with high diagnostic informativeness. Premature newborns were divided into several groups, depending on the diagnosis, which were associated according to the following gradation S: 1 - NEC I A, 2 - NEC I B, 3 - NEC II A, 4 - NEC II B. Based on this initial statistical material, linear integral characteristics of the diagnosis of NEC were constructed. Results: As a result of calculations, a diagnostic model of the NEC stage of the following form was obtained: Ψ(x) = 0.7406 - 0.0008*x(5) + 0.0113* x(7) - 0.0148* x(8)+ + 0.0465* x(9)+ 0.0243* x(10) - 0.0019* x(11) + 0.0018* x(12) - - 0.0194* x(13) + 0.0046* x(15). High values of the coefficient of determination (R2 = 0.98) indicate the high efficiency of the resulting diagnostic model. This served as the basis for the development, based on equation (3), of the software tool “Diagnostics of the stage of NEC”. Conclusion: Thus, the use of the electronic program “Diagnostics of the stage of NEC” that we have developed allows for timely strengthening of conservative therapy or, in the case of identifying advanced stages of NEC.
