PROVIDING EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE TO VICTIMS WITH GUNSHOT WOUNDS AT THE STAGES OF MEDICAL EVACUATION IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS

Resume

This article is devoted to the experience of organizing the provision of medical care for gunshot wounds in the reformed emergency medical care system of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Analysis of the material showed that within the first hour 79% of the victims were delivered to the hospital. To stop external bleeding in 58.5% of the wounded, a tourniquet was applied, and in 41.5% a pressure bandage was used. There was a shortage of transport immobilization equipment, and therefore was used only in 26.3% of victims; in other cases, immobilization was carried out using improvised means. All procedures during the evacuation stages must be aimed at saving the life of the victim.
