Resume

Currently, in most cases, prediabetes is detected by chance, as part of routine clinical examinations of the population or targeted examination of the patient when confirming/excluding carbohydrate metabolism disorders, primarily type 2 diabetes. A feature of prediabetes is the absence of clear clinical symptoms, which is primarily explained by slight glucosuria and preserved energy supply to organs and tissues.
