FREQUENCY OF LUNG CANCER IN KHOREZM REGION DEPENDING ON GENDER AND AGE

Resume

The materials of 103 patients, categorized by gender, age, and region of residence, who were undergoing treatment with a diagnosis of lung cancer in the Khorezm branch of the Scientific and Practical Oncology Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan, were analyzed. The results showed that the majority of patients were residents of the city of Urgench (21.4%), Khazorasp district (15.53%), and Yangarik district (12.6%). In terms of gender, men predominated (55.3%), and among the age groups, the age group 50-64 predominated (39.8%). The prevalence of the disease does not appear to depend on the population size of the regions.
