Resume
The aim of the study. To study the possibilities of predicting the development of cervical cancer based on the amount of homocysteine. Materials and methods. The study involved 131 women with varying degrees of cervical cancer, as well as 26 practically healthy ones. Of these, 37 patients had a negative LSIL test for human papillomavirus (HPV), 41 patients had a LSIL test for HPV+, for a total of 53 patients with a positive result for human papilloma virus. Research work was carried out at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Bukhara State Medical Institute. Conclusions. Thus, monitoring the amount of homocysteine made it possible to evaluate them, monitor the effectiveness of treatment without waiting for an outbreak of their clinical manifestations, and timely assess the degree of progression of cervical cancer.
