Resume

Acute orchoepididymitis is a complex problem, both social and medical. This is determined by its high prevalence among men of reproductive age, the negative effect of the inflammatory process in the epididymis on reproductive function, as well as the possibility of severe complications that can lead to organ-bearing operations and death. The study of the clinical characteristics of patients with purulent-destructive diseases of the scrotum and the search for treatment methods may offer a new approach to preventing complications of inflammatory diseases that will occur in men in the future.
