Resume

One of the early manifestations of a wide range of diseases of the hepatobiliary system in children's practice is cholestatic syndrome. The most alarming conditions are those accompanied by "direct" hyperbilirubinemia, in which the level of conjugated bilirubin is more than 15% of the total level. Such hyperbilirubinemia is commonly called "cholestatic". Cholestatic liver diseases are very diverse, while underestimating the dynamics of the development of the pathological process, delayed therapeutic intervention can lead to death or severe disability. The article presents the clinical features of hyperbilirubinemia syndrome to optimize diagnosis and management tactics.
