Resume

The article deals with the research and development of improved methods of complex treatment and prevention of dental fluorosis in children. Fluorosis is a disease caused by excessive consumption of fluoride, which can lead to persistent changes in the structure and color of tooth enamel. In the context of the spread of fluorosis among children, especially in areas with a high content of fluoride in drinking water, this study aims to identify the most effective approaches to the treatment and prevention of this disease. The study is relevant, since fluorosis not only spoils the appearance of teeth, but can also lead to their increased sensitivity and vulnerability to caries, which significantly affects the overall health of the child and his self-esteem. At the same time, existing methods of prevention and treatment of fluorosis often turn out to be insufficiently effective or do not take into account the individual characteristics of patients. The purpose of this work is to analyze current approaches to the treatment of fluorosis and to develop more advanced, individualized prevention methods based on the latest scientific data and clinical studies. The study includes the analysis of medical records, biochemical analyses, questionnaires of parents and children, as well as regular dental examinations to assess the condition of tooth enamel in children living in various environmental conditions. The study examined various aspects of fluorosis, including the mechanisms of its development, the effect of different concentrations of fluoride in drinking water and the possibility of correcting pathological changes in tooth enamel using modern pharmacological and non-pharmacological means. Special attention is paid to the comparison of traditional and innovative approaches, including the use of fluoride-containing and fluoride-free oral care products. The results of the study showed that the correct dosage of fluoride and its combination with other components of dental care can significantly reduce the likelihood of fluorosis and its negative consequences for tooth enamel. The most effective strategies for early diagnosis and treatment of the initial stages of fluorosis have also been identified, which allows to prevent its further development. The conclusion of the study highlights the importance of an individual approach in the prevention and treatment of fluorosis, as well as the need to teach parents and children proper oral care. The study makes a significant contribution to the understanding of fluorosis and the development of new methods of its treatment and prevention, which can have long-term positive effects on children's health.
