Resume
Craniometric studies are now actively used in scientific research in such areas as otorhinolaryngology, neurology, dentistry and ophthalmology and serve to provide a reasonable solution to problems in these areas. One of these problems is the study of the formation of the eyeball at various degrees of severity of the condition of myopia, the most common among refractive errors in the growing body, where it is important to find a solution. The fact that myopia is very common among children and is not always diagnosed in time can adversely affect the quality of life of the child, lead to retinal detachment, and to disability in childhood or at the beginning of the period of disability. These data confirm that research is being conducted in today's fundamental area of practical medicine. The main results presented in the article, clinical, instrumental, anatomical, anthropometric and statistical research methods were used in the comparative assessment of anthropometric indicators in children with myopia.
