Resume
Purpose: to evaluate the capabilities of preoperative 3D CT and modified Foker procedure in different types of long gap esophageal atresia. Materials and methods: in this article analyzed the results of management of long gap esophageal atresia in 23 children treated in the department of minimally invasive surgery of the National Children's Medical Center. The results of preoperative MSCT with 3D visualization and the modified Foker procedure were analyzed. Results: in 19 cases, MSCT of the chest organs with 3D visualization was performed, of which in 18 cases the distal segment of the esophagus was identified at the level of the VII-VIII vertebrae, in 1 case below the VIII vertebra. One patient had partial obstruction of the tracheal lumen with a foreign body. In 52.6% of cases, a modified Foker operation was performed. Conclusion: The results of the analysis of the management of patients with esophagogastrostomy for long gap esophageal atresia show the effectiveness of preoperative MSCT with 3D visualization, as well as the modified Foker procedure, which is minimally invasive and preserves native esophagus.
Key words: Long gap esophageal atresia, Foker procedure, 3D MSCT
