SURGICAL TACTICS FOR ACUTE OBSTRUCTION OF THE LARGE INTESTINE OF TUMOR AND NON-TUMOR GENESIS

Resume

The authors, as a result of the work done, conclude that in case of acute obstruction of the colon of tumor and non-tumor origin, the formation of a combined T-shaped stoma with colo-coloanastomosis, compared with the Hartmann operation, is accompanied by almost the same frequency of postoperative complications and mortality, which do not have a statistically significant difference. However, the formation of a combined T-shaped stoma with colo-coloanastomosis allows reconstructive operations to be performed in an extraperitoneal manner, which provides undeniable advantages in terms of less trauma, safety, early surgical rehabilitation, as well as early restoration of normal work activity and a speedy return to normal life activities.
