Resume

Treatment of liver cirrhosis with portal hypertension remains an urgent problem. Isolated ligation of the splenic artery as improving the arterial blood supply to the liver does not always lead to the goal, since the arterial blood of the celiac artery is directed towards the left gastric artery due to the high vascular resistance in the intrahepatic branches of the hepatic artery. The combination of this operation with blockage of the left gastric artery as well as denervation of the hepatic artery led to the achievement of this goal with a marked improvement in portohepatic hemodynamics. The study was conducted on 45 patients with liver cirrhosis with portal hypertension who underwent the above operation.
