Resume
This review is devoted to the incidence of chronic kidney disease in rheumatoid arthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic inflammatory disease with predominant signs of inflammation and joint damage. According to research data from recent years, chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients with RA is significantly more common than in patients without RA, and is closely associated with the risk of cardiovascular complications and high mortality. Determining the nature of renal damage requires correct interpretation of the clinical situation, the results of laboratory and instrumental research methods, as well as close interdisciplinary cooperation between a rheumatologist, nephrologist and clinical pathologist. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are often used to relieve pain in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. In rheumatoid arthritis, the occurrence of chronic kidney disease depends, first of all, on the duration of the disease and the nature of the inflammatory process. The problem of kidney damage in rheumatoid arthritis is poorly understood and requires further research.
Keywords: rheumatoid arthritis; amyloidosis, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, chronic kidney damage.
