To study the potential of homocysteine and cytokine levels to predict the development of cervical precancerous disease. Materials and methods. The study involved 131 women with varying degrees of cervical cancer, as well as 26 practically healthy ones. Of these, 37 patients had a negative LSIL test for human papillomavirus (HPV), 41 patients had a LSIL test for HPV+, for a total of 53 patients with a positive result for human papilloma virus. Research work was carried out at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Bukhara State Medical Institute. Conclusions. Thus, it was possible to monitor the amount of homocysteine and cytokines, evaluate them, observe the effectiveness of the treatment without waiting for the exacerbation of clinical manifestations, and assess the severity of cervical pre-cancerous disease in a timely manner.
