ANTHROPOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF THE MAXILLOFACIAL REGION OF CHILDREN WITH PHARYNGEAL TONSIL HYPERTROPHY
Jurayeva F.E. - Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina
Resume
The essence of this study was to determine and compare the parameters of the maxillofacial region of boys and girls with hypertrophy of adenoids in the I and II periods of childhood, to identify the effect of mouth breathing and the degree of hypertrophy on the development of the facial skeleton. In the first and second periods of childhood, all facial parameters have gender differences. In I childhood, there is a primary increase in the size of the head, while in the II period a greater increase in the size of the face was found. while in children with adenoiditis, high growth rates are found at the ages of 5 and 6 years. Due to oral respiration, changes in the morphometric height of the face, height and width of the nose were observed in children with HHM.
Key words: cephalometry, hypertrophy of the pharyngeal tonsil, children, I and II period of childhood, maxillofacial region.
