Resume

This article is dedicated to studying serological changes in the levels of cytokines IL-1β, IL-4α, and IL-6 in patients with chronic hepatitis C (CHC). The study found that IL-1β and IL-6 levels were significantly elevated, while IL-4α levels were reduced in CHC patients compared to the control group. Elevated IL-1β and IL-6 levels are associated with more severe clinical manifestations of the disease, such as fibrosis and liver cirrhosis. These findings underscore the importance of monitoring cytokines to assess the inflammatory process and disease prognosis, which may aid in the development of new therapeutic strategies.
