Resume

Cytomegalovirus infection (CMVI) is a common worldwide viral infection that can cause a range of clinical manifestations in children. This infection is caused by a virus belonging to the herpes virus family called cytomegalovirus. СMV infection can cause a range of clinical manifestations, from asymptomatic to severe disease. СMV can remain latent for life, and reactivation of the virus occurs in immunocompromised individuals.
