PREGNANCY OUTCOME IN WOMEN WITH CHRONIC VIRAL HEPATITIS D AND B: COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS AND RESULTS

Resume

Successful pregnancy requires carefully coordinated communication between the mother and fetus. A prospective case-control study was conducted on 129 pregnant women aged 18 to 45 years receiving treatment for CHVD (88) and CHVB (41) at the 1st City Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tashkent from 2019 to 2021. Pregnancy outcomes were studied in women with CHVD and B.The study revealed that in pregnant women in the second and third trimesters, chronic infectious processes were highly active in 19% of cases. Viral hepatitis B and D negatively affect the course of pregnancy, increasing the risk of miscarriage, preterm birth, and stillbirth.
