Resume

The article provides an overview of the available and most effective methods of rehabilitation of patients who have suffered a stroke. The principles of rehabilitation measures for the main clinical manifestations of stroke that cause persistent disability of the patient are considered. The effectiveness of new experimental rehabilitation methods is discussed. Objective: To study the neurophysiological specificity of movement and balance disorders in patients in the residual period who have suffered ischemic stroke of the carotid and vertebrobasilar basin, to develop and improve rehabilitation methods. Subject of the study: Patients in the residual period of carotid and vertebrobasilar stroke. Volunteers of the corresponding age and gender who did not have a history of stroke were used as a control group. Subject of the study: Clinical, neurological, neurophysiological, neurovisual research Instrumental research: MRТ and CT of the brain, Dopplerography of the main vessels of the neck and head, electroencephalography; The general stability index, the anterior-posterior stability index, the mediolateral stability, the fall risk index, the Berg stability scale, the physical activity impairment scale, and the walking test are used; The biomer st-150 stabilometric complex is used to assess balance. The following stabilometric parameters are assessed - the center of pressure, length, and frequency of deviations; Conclusion: In conclusion, it should be noted that, despite the fact that a large number of studies have been conducted in this area, there is not enough scientifically substantiated information on the neurophysiological characteristics of the disease, the role of the physiotherapeutic approach in the rehabilitation of patients. diseases, as well as the stabilometric method of biofeedback in the residual period after a stroke. which indicates the need for detailed clinical and laboratory studies on this problem. The encounter of conflicting information on this matter in the information of foreign and local sources served as a reason for conducting this study.
