Resume

Allergic conjunctivitis is the most common eye disease, affecting up to 40% of the population. Allergic conjunctivitis is caused by a variety of factors, including genetics, inflammation, air pollution, atopy, exposure to pollens, and contact with pets. One of the main clinical symptoms is itching in the eyes. Allergic conjunctivitis can develop into keratoconjunctivitis and can cause vision loss. Although it is rarely vision-threatening, it can significantly impair patients' quality of life.

Key words: Allergic conjunctivitis, keratoconjunctivitis, blepharoconjunctivitis.
