Rеsume
Hypothyroidism in pregnant women may be accompanied by intrauterine growth retardation, low birth weight, and antenatal death. We examined 25 fetuses in healthy and 32 fetuses in pregnant women in a state of hypothyroidism. All pregnant women underwent screening studies in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters. The smallest growth rate of fetometric indicators was noted during the third screening study. The most intensive growth of fetometric values was observed in the period from 12 to 35 weeks.
Key words:hypothyroidism, fetometry, screening studies, thyroid pathology.
