Resume

Backround. Thyroid disease accounts for a significant portion of endocrine diseases in children and adolescents. However, few studies have reported the pattern of thyroid disease in this age group. Methodology for revealing the research problem. 156 children with various thyroid diseases aged 0 to 18 years were examined. There were 89 boys and 67 girls in total. Research results. Among thyroid diseases among children and adolescents, the following groups were observed: group 1 - children and adolescents with thyroid nodules up to 1-3 cm - 56 patients, group 2 - children and adolescents with diffuse goiter of the 1st degree - 35 patients, group 3 - children and adolescents with diffuse goiter of degree 2 - 49 patients. Group 4 - children and adolescents with autoimmune thyroiditis - 16 patients.
