Resume
In recent years, breast cancer among women has increased and remains a disease with a very high lethal risk. If the cancer is detected and treated early, chance of survival increases in patients with breast cancer. According to the WHO, in 2020, breast cancer accounted for every eighth new case of cancer in the world and every fourth among women: this disease was diagnosed in 2.3 million people, 685 thousand died from it. In recent years, a number of studies have been carried out indicating the presence of specific features of the breast cancer problem in the Central Asian and Caucasian regions. In the structure of mortality of the female population of Uzbekistan from malignant neoplasms, malignant tumors of the mammary gland have the largest specific weight (20.4%).
Key words: Breast cancer, relapses, mortality, benign, malignant.
