Resume

The increase and widespread worldwide resistance of all clinically important microorganisms causing infectious and inflammatory processes is currently an urgent problem of global scale and largely determines the strategy in conducting scientific research on the prevention of infectious and inflammatory complications, especially among individuals with malignant neoplasms. scientifically substantiated complex preventive measures. The article presents the results of studies aimed at studying the resistance of opportunistic microorganisms causing infectious and inflammatory complications in patients with breast cancer to antibacterial drugs. After sputum culture, the resistance of pathogens, frequent pathogens of infectious and inflammatory complications in patients with cancer, in particular, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, was identified and then determined. The high level of frequency of manifestation of antimicrobial resistance in this case, in our opinion, contributed to the fact that during the entire study period, more than half of the Staphylococcus aureus strains were resistant to ampicillin (72.0 ± 8.98%) and in most cases retained sensitivity to the antibacterial agent of the second-generation fluoroquinolone group. And in the course of our studies, the fact of an increase in the number of Klebsiella pneumoniae strains resistant to almost most of the drugs used was revealed. Thus, a marked increase in the number of strains resistant to the penicillin antibiotics selected for the studies, i.e. to Ampicillin/sulbactams, was noted. In the course of the present studies, an analysis of the frequency of occurrence of resistant strains of E. coli from pathological materials from patients with breast cancer was also conducted, as a result, during the study period, a tendency was revealed towards an increase in its resistance or tolerance to some drugs, in particular, to the drug of the Ampicillin series, often used for infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, as well as Ceftriaxone and Ertapenem.
