Resume

Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) is an oncohematological disease characterized by cytopenia associated with ineffective hematopoiesis. The article covers methods of genetic testing and, in particular, methods of cytogenetic research (SCI and FISH) used in the diagnosis of MDS.
