GENETIC TESTING FOR MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROMES
Mirzoeva L.A. - National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek
Resume
Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) is an oncohematological disease characterized by cytopenia associated with ineffective hematopoiesis. The article covers methods of genetic testing and, in particular, methods of cytogenetic research (SCI and FISH) used in the diagnosis of MDS.
Key words: myelodysplastic syndrome, diagnosis, cytogenetic research methods, FISH, karyotyping
