Mastopathy, also known as fibrocystic breast disease, is a non-cancerous condition characterized by the presence of lumpy or rope-like breast tissue. This condition affects a significant number of women, particularly those of reproductive age, and can cause considerable discomfort and anxiety. Understanding mastopathy, its symptoms, causes, and treatment options is essential for effective management and relief.
