Resume

Protecting the air, a critical factor for human physiological processes, and ensuring its quality meets ecological standards is a global challenge today. According to data, toxic gases emitted from vehicles in Uzbekistan amount to an average of 203–208 kilograms per person annually, highlighting the significant health risks posed by motor vehicles. Air pollution affects humans, plants, animals, and all living organisms. According to the World Health Organization (WHO) data from 2018, around 7 million people die annually due to excessive air pollution, with Asia and Africa ranking highest in this regard. Objective:To develop preventive measures aimed at preserving and improving the natural composition and quality of the air in residential areas based on eco-hygienic assessments of atmospheric air. Materials and Methods: Sanitary-descriptive, instrumental, analytical, and statistical methods were applied, with Tashkent city residents selected as the study population.
