Resume

The article presents data from a study of 97 middle-aged patients with VDS and IBS. Patients with VDS and IBS have been found to often demonstrate complex relationships between autonomic nervous system activity and bowel symptoms. Correlation analysis revealed significant relationships between these parameters, which is useful for understanding the pathogenesis and developing individualized approaches to treating these patients.
