Resume

The special social significance of the problem is given by the fact that neurogenic deformities of the lower extremities are one of the leading causes of childhood disability, significantly reducing the quality of life of patients and their families. In the structure of children's disability due to diseases of the musculoskeletal system, this pathology occupies one of the leading places, accounting for up to 25-30% of cases. The complexity of the problem is due to the multifactorial nature of etiopathogenesis, the variety of clinical forms and degrees of severity of pathology, as well as the lack of unified approaches to diagnosis and treatment. Despite significant achievements of modern medicine in the field of diagnosis and treatment of neurogenic deformities, many aspects of this problem remain unresolved.
