PREVALENCE AND RISK FACTORS OF FAILURE IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC LIVER DISEASE

Resume

Anemia is common in chronic liver diseases developed as a result of various risk factors. We evaluated the prevalence and severity of anemia and the impact of anemia on clinical outcomes in patients with chronic liver disease and portal hypertension. Thus, the rate of development of anemia in chronic hepatitis of the liver varies from 20% to 60%, and in the case of liver cirrhosis from 23% to 100%. Many authors, who deal with chronic diffuse diseases of the liver, emphasize that anemia associated with liver diseases contributes to the development of dystrophic changes in internal organs.
