Resume

Despite the improvement in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases in children with disabilities, inflammatory periodontal diseases are often diagnosed at late stages, and there is a tendency for a steady increase in this pathology. The diagnosis of periodontal diseases using bacteriological studies is important both for the prevention of complications of the disease and for effective treatment.
