DIAGNOSTIC SHORTCOMINGS IN THE TREATMENT OF RESISTANT FORMS OF PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Resume

It was revealed that, in a comparative assessment of the methods used for bacteriological studies of sputum in a sharply continental climate and peripheral regions, it showed that the sensitivity and specificity of the methods were: molecular genetic examination in the GeneXpert apparatus sensitivity – 97.1%, and specificity – 2.9%, HAINtest sensitivity – 100%, and specificity – 0%, bacterioscopy sensitivity is 63.1% and specificity is 36.9%, seeding methods on a solid Levenstein–Jensen medium sensitivity is 90% and specificity is 10%, on a liquid medium MGIT–BACTEC–960 sensitivity is 73.3% and specificity is 26.7%.
