TACTICAL APPROACH TO SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CHRONIC SUPULATIVE OTITIS MEDIA

Resume

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the surgical approach in the treatment of chronic purulent inflammation of the middle ear. To conduct the study, 217 patients who were treated as inpatients at the specialized hospital of the Urgench branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy and the private clinic “Khorezm LOR Shifo” in the city of Urgench were recruited. Of the 217 patients included in the study, 64 (29.4%) patients had their ears analyzed for pathological changes in recurrent chronic suppurative otitis media after various cleansing studies. In 64 out of 217 patients who had a recurrence of CSOM after sanitation, the ongoing inflammatory process caused insufficient sanitation due to incomplete removal of the branch cells.
