INFLUENCE OF GENETICALLY MODIFIED SOYBEAN ON THE MICROFLORA OF THE LARGE INTESTINE

Resume
To study the effect of a GM product on the body, experimental studies were carried out on laboratory animals (white outbred rats). For experimental studies, 90 white outbred male rats were recruited into the study. GM soybean in the form of flour in an amount of 0.02-0.03 g was added to the diet of white outbred experimental rats, to the porridge prepared for them. After this period of feeding, all animals were opened in a special handling room in compliance with all the rules of asepsis and antiseptics, after which the abdominal cavity was opened and materials for microbiological research were collected in sterile disposable containers: feces from the colon. The state of normal microflora of the large intestine and the degree of development of dysbacteriosis were determined. In intact laboratory animals (group 1) there are no signs of dysbiosis, in animals fed with non-GM soybeans (group 2) signs of dysbiosis are poorly developed (I degree of dysbiosis), and in those fed with GM soybeans, signs of dysbiosis are clearly expressed (II degree of dysbiosis ).
