Resume
The features of cognitive behavior of rats are considered. Methods of studying the cognitive function of rats are described in examples of the use of problem chambers in experiments. A short review of the history of experimental study of cognitive behavior of rats with examples of some methods is given. Data on the hexagonal coordinate grid, its components and functions are included.
