Resume

The article presents autopsy data of 34 deaths from 2018 to 2024 in the spring-summer period. Among the deaths, men aged 35–60 years were more common. The average daily temperature during this period was above 30°C. Of the total number of deaths, alcohol was found in the blood in 21 cases. Morphological studies have shown changes in internal organs in acute alcohol poisoning in the form of plethora and swelling of the choroid plexus of the ventricles of the brain and its brain substance, gliosis and pinpoint hemorrhages, hemorrhages in the lungs, in the heart muscle, the mucous membrane of the stomach and small intestine, and in the pancreatic tissue. In 4 cases in which the blood concentration of ethanol was below 2.5‰ and who died from heat stroke, histological examination showed perivascular and pericellular cerebral edema, hyperemia of the vessels of the pia mater, stasis and sludge of erythrocytes, hypertrophy of cardiomyocytes, fragmentation of fibers, expansion was noted in the lungs alveoli, desquamation of the bronchial epithelium. In the liver there is granular degeneration, lymphohistocytic infiltration, full-blooded vessels, with sludge.
