CURRENT ISSUES IN WATER SUPPLY FOR NON-URBANIZED SETTLEMENTS

According to data from the United Nations, approximately 3 billion people worldwide use low-quality drinking water. Objective: Based on the ecological and hygienic assessment of drinking water supply in the Narpay district of Samarkand region, to develop preventive measures aimed at preserving and improving public health. To provide a general characterization of centralized and local drinking water supply for the population of Narpay district in Samarkand region, and to develop preventive recommendations for improving and optimizing domestic drinking water supply. Materials and Methods: The subject of the study was the water supply system of Narpay district's population, while the object was its residents. The study employed sanitary-descriptive, instrumental, analytical, and statistical methods.
