APPLICATION OF ULTRASONIC EXAMINATION IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF RECURRENT OVARIAN CANCER

Nabieva F.S. - Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino, Bukhara branch of the Republican specialized scientific and practical medical center of oncology and radiology

Resume

Currently, there are no standard approaches to monitoring patients with ovarian cancer (OC). Although the role of ultrasound (US) is clearly defined in the primary diagnosis of OC, it remains controversial during the follow-up of patients with surgical treatment of OC. When implemented as a standard follow-up procedure, ultrasound can play a central role in the early detection of ovarian cancer recurrence(OCR).

Keywords: Ovarian cancer(OC), ovarian cancer recurrence (OCR), ultrasound (US);
