INTERRELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CLINICAL AND BIOCHEMICAL INDICATORS OF PERIODONTAL DISEASES IN PATIENTS WITH MENTAL DISORDERS

Resume

The article examines the relationship between clinical and biochemical indicators of periodontal diseases in patients with mental disorders, assesses the impact of the psychoemotional state on the development and course of periodontal diseases, as well as on biochemical changes in the body. An analysis of clinical data and biochemical tests in patients with various forms of mental disorders, including depression, anxiety disorders and emotional exhaustion, was conducted. The results of the study showed a significant deterioration in periodontal health in patients with mental disorders, including increased inflammation, changes in saliva and blood composition, and decreased treatment effectiveness. The role of stress factors associated with mental disorders in the development and progression of periodontal diseases was studied. The obtained data emphasize the importance of a comprehensive approach to treating patients, including both traditional methods of treating periodontal diseases and correction of the psychoemotional state.
