Resume
Viral hepatitis is the leading cause of death worldwide, a global public health problem. About 98% of these deaths are caused by long-term complications of chronic viral hepatitis (CVН) B and C, such as cirrhosis of the liver and hepatocellular carcinoma. In the article, the authors studied the immunological factors of growth and damage in chronic viral hepatitis. The study of cytokines, interferons, and growth and damage factors revealed some of the mechanisms of CVН in comorbidity and showed a close relationship with the synthesis of cytokines and interferons.
Key words: viral hepatitis, immune status, prognosis, immunity, liver
