DETERMINING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF INHALATION THERAPY IN CHILDREN WITH OBSTRUCTIVE BRONCHITIS

Resume

Purpose of the study: To evaluate the effectiveness of inhaled use of a mucolytic solution (3% sodium chloride and sodium hyaluronate) in children with acute obstructive bronchitis Materials and methods of research. Materials and methods of research. From September 2024 to January 2025, 45 children aged 2 to 5 years with acute obstructive bronchitis were treated in the 1st city children's hospital in Samarkand and received outpatient treatment. The patients were divided into two groups. The main group consisted of 25 children who, against the background of standard therapy, received a drug containing 3% sodium chloride and sodium hyaluronate by inhalation. The comparison group included 20 children who received only standard therapy. Results. In patients of the main group who received inhalation of a 3% solution of sodium chloride and sodium hyaluronate against the background of standard therapy, positive dynamics were observed, which, unlike the comparison group, was detected already on the 2-3rd day of treatment. On day 2, the cough became productive and was not observed at night, while in the comparison group the cough persisted throughout the day and was paroxysmal and dry. Children of the main group were discharged home with an improvement in their general condition on days 7-10 of hospital stay; children who received only standard therapy were discharged relatively later.
