Resume

The scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the research lies in the fact that for the first time, a clinical analysis of endogenous and exogenous depressions in the involutional period was used in the pharmacological treatment process. The methodology of clinical and ethological research has been refined, including four sequential stages: analysis of motor act elements, analysis of simple behavioral complexes, analysis of complex behavioral forms, and study of behavioral structure during therapy. For the first time, a comparison of nonverbal behavior (NP) in involuntary and vascular depressions was conducted based on ethological and visual psychosemiotic analyses. For the first time, statistically confirmed material revealed patterns in the formation of various depressive syndromes during the involuntary period. Features of the relationship between depression and other psychopathological symptoms in these diseases have been identified. For the first time, the main differences in the behavioral structure of patients with endogenous and vascular depression, as well as the dynamic changes in NP during the pharmacological treatment of depressive episodes, have been described. During the drug treatment process, prognostically significant behavioral signs in endogenous and vascular depression were identified.
