Resume

The prevalence of morbid obesity is increasing worldwide. Against this background, surgical methods for obesity treatment have become widespread. However, after bariatric procedures, patients often face a range of issues requiring lifelong monitoring and therapy. The Endocrinology Society has developed detailed guidelines for managing patients after surgical obesity treatment. This article presents and discusses their key provisions.
