COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENTS IN CHRONIC HEART DISEASE INSUFFICIENCY

Sadullaev D.I. - Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina

Resume

Heart failure and cognitive impairment have a number of common pathophysiological mechanisms, such as decreased cerebral blood flow, inflammation, neurohumoral activation, oxidative stress, and changes in biomarkers or serum proteins. Understanding these mechanisms contributes to a more accurate assessment of patients' condition and the development of effective treatment methods. Early detection of cognitive impairment in patients with heart failure can improve clinical outcomes. This review examines the relationship between heart failure and cognitive dysfunction, the impact of new therapeutic approaches on cognitive function, and suggests prospects for further research.

Key words: Heart failure, cognitive impairment, cognitive dysfunction, pathophysiology, virtual reality.
