MODERN ASPECTS OF THE TREATMENT OF CHRONIC SINUSITIS

Resume

Chronic sinusitis is one of the most common diseases of the upper respiratory tract, which can lead to a significant deterioration in the quality of life and disability of patients. Despite the development of modern diagnostic and treatment methods, the issue of choosing the optimal treatment strategy remains relevant. This work is devoted to a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of conservative and surgical treatment of chronic sinusitis. We analyzed the results of treatment of patients with chronic sinusitis in two groups: conservative (drug treatment, physiotherapy) and surgical (endoscopic intervention). The clinical results were evaluated, as well as statistical data confirming the advantage of one of the methods.
