Resume
This article explores modern aspects of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment of bronchial asthma (BA), with a focus on the assessment of adipokines (leptin, adiponectin) and immunological biomarkers (IgE, IL-4, IL-5, IL-13). The review includes data from scientific literature, clinical studies, as well as recommendations from GINA and national protocols. An analysis of BA phenotypes is provided, principles of stepwise therapy are discussed, along with emerging classes of drugs (anti-IgE, anti-IL-5). The significance of metabolic and immune dysregulation in the development of severe forms of BA is emphasized
