According to the World Health Organization, more than 10 million new cases of breast cancer are registered annually. Statistical data indicate that breast cancer ranks first among malignant diseases in women. Chemotherapy is a chemical treatment method that involves the use of drugs with cytotoxic effects on malignant tumors. The drugs used in chemotherapy cause various changes in the lungs. Lung damage due to chemotherapy is one of the most pressing issues in oncology. Therefore, this study investigates the morphological changes in lung tissue resulting from chemotherapy for breast cancer.
