Resume
The work studied the effect of unfractionated and low-molecular-weight heparin on changes in leukocyte DNA methylation in women with early pregnancy miscarriages. It was concluded that UFH in women with miscarriages without genital infections more effectively reduces the proinflammatory load, which is important for preventing complications associated with hyperinflammation. It helps maintain an anti-inflammatory response, which is important for the balance of the immune system during gestation. It modulates tissue-remodeling processes more effectively, reducing the risk of pathologies associated with excessive MMP activity. It also normalizes epigenetic disorders, which can reduce the risk of long-term complications in the fetus and mother. LMWH demonstrates partial anti-inflammatory efficacy. It is less effective in matrix remodeling, which may be associated with a selective effect on individual links of inflammation. It also has a weak effect on epigenetic markers, maintaining the risk of long-term complications. UFH demonstrates a more pronounced therapeutic potential in pregravid preparation of high-risk women compared to LMWH. UFH is suitable for short-term therapy with an emphasis on epigenetic modulation. LMWH is safer with long-term use, but its effect on DNA methylation is less pronounced.
