Resume

Modern methods of investigating inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses include an analysis of their causes, mechanisms of development, as well as diagnosis and therapeutic approaches. The key aspects are new diagnostic technologies, such as imaging techniques, and bioregulatory treatment strategies. According to data from both domestic and foreign scientists, there is a significant increase in cases of inflammatory diseases of the nose and paranasal sinuses, which occupy leading positions among all inflammatory diseases of the ENT organs [1,2]. Every year there is an increase in the incidence of acute rhinosinusitis and an increase in chronic infectious foci in the sinuses by 1.5-2%. In otorhinolaryngological hospitals, most patients suffer from inflammatory diseases of the paranasal sinuses and their complications
